If your WordPress blog is hosted by WordPress.com, you have to use a special command to embed YouTube videos into a blog post.
Every YouTube has a video ID that looks something like this: pBqPHJhmFHo.
To embed the video in your web blog post, type or paste the following line into the text.
[ youtube=http://youtube.com/w/?v=pBqPHJhmFHo]
You need to do two more things:
- Replace pBqPHJhmFHo with the video ID for the particular video that you want to embed.
- Delete the space between “[” and “youtube” in the line that you pasted in.

Hehehe MORE COWBELL! I still don’t understand why that caught on. Let us know if you figure it out. Thanks Ed!

Mike, there are two reasons this caught on: (1) It’s the best Saturday Night Live skit ever. (2) I’ve got a fever, and the only prescription is more cowbell.
