Reinventing Church. Pastor Mark Batterson writes: “I think spontaneity and candidness is precisely what’s missing from most church experiences….” He continues:
I’ve always wanted to make church, especially in our coffeehouse, more interactive. We’ve thought about Q & A. Or the View? Just thinking out loud.

Life in South Carolina. This year NewSpring Church will invest between $1.2 and $1.5 million in its children and youth ministries. (Heard in “Who Is Jesus?“)
Faith-Based Social Networks. MySpace-like networks based on shared religious values are growing in popularity, including Xianz for Christians, Shmooze for Jews, and Naseeb for Muslims. My first reaction: for dating, a more restrictive network might be a good thing; but don’t Christian-only networks threaten to remove salt and light from the world? (Via Ypulse.)
Youniverse. UrbanDictionary.com.
The entirety of creation that relates to one specific, narcissistic individual. Used to indicate that a particular person has knowledge only of him or herself — their universe consists only of them.
If you moved outside of your youniverse for five seconds you’d understand that people aren’t homeless out of choice.
